- 1 Cup Rice
- 1 Can Tomato Sauce
- 2 TBSP Vegetable Oil
- 2 Cup Water
- 1/2 packet of Taco Seasoning
To a large skillet on medium high add oil and rice. Continuously stir until it starts to brown and smell like popcorn. It should look like this.
To this add the tomato sauce, be careful because it will pop and steam. Stir until it “chills out” (its evenly distributed and no longer popping and steaming like crazy). Then add the water and stir.
Let cook for about 12-13 minutes (during this time try to refrain from stirring until close to the end or it will be soggy) or until the water is gone and looks like this.
Stir and Serve.
