CWNITC: Doughnuts

WP_20140423_004This is a simple dessert my mom used to make when I was younger.  Her mom used to make it when she was younger.   It’s nice because it’s super simple and the kids can help.

Ingredients:

  • canned biscuits
  • powdered sugar
  • Cinnamon (optional)

Directions:

Roll biscuits flat, using a bottle lid cut holes into the middle.  Drop into deep fryer, after about 30 seconds flip and check bottom.  When both sides are golden brown, remove and roll in sugar.
